PT Brain Busters
This course is designed by a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario with experience in orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics, and sports injuries. As an internationally trained physiotherapist who has successfully navigated the challenges of clearing the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (PCE) and obtaining licensure in Canada, she understands firsthand the struggles faced by many international professionals.
This course was created to guide internationally educated physiotherapists through the journey of preparing for and passing the Canadian Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE), while balancing the demands of work, studies, and roles such as physiotherapy assistant (PTA) or student. It aims to address real-world challenges, provide focused preparation strategies, and build the confidence needed to succeed.
Founder of PT Brain Busters
Hi, I am Faiza Mastan, the founder of PT Brain Busters and a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada. I created PT Brain Busters specifically for internationally educated physiotherapists who are working toward becoming registered physiotherapists in Canada.
As someone with clinical experience in Canada, I understand what safe, effective, and patient-centered physiotherapy looks like in real practice — and I also understand how challenging the Canadian licensing exams can be. I’ve personally gone through this journey, and I know that many international physiotherapists struggle not because they lack knowledge, but because they’re unsure how to think, reason, and respond the way Canadian examiners expect.
PT Brain Busters was designed to bridge that gap. This course focuses on exam-focused clinical reasoning, case-based learning, red flags, prioritization, and safety, across Orthopedic, Cardiology, Neurology, Multisystem, Pediatric and Ethics scenarios.
My goal is simple — to help you pass your licensing exams with confidence, and to help you transition smoothly into practice as a competent and safe physiotherapist in Canada. We don’t just prepare you for the exam — we prepare you for practice.
